Still Smiling is an assumed business name of Owens Insurance Group LLC, a licensed insurance agency (Utah agency license #1066072). In this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean Owens Insurance Group LLC doing business as Still Smiling. "You" means anyone who visits our pages or sends us information.
We are an insurance agency, not an insurance company. When you ask about a plan, a licensed insurance agent will contact you.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us when you fill out one of our forms, including forms inside Facebook and Instagram ads (Meta lead forms), our website, or when you call, text or email us. This may include:
- Your name, phone number, email address and ZIP code or address
- Your answers to the questions on the form, such as what matters most to you in a dental plan and when you would like coverage to start
- The date and time you submitted the form, the form and ad you responded to, and the consent language you agreed to
- Notes from our conversations with you, and recordings of calls where the law allows and you are told the call may be recorded
When you submit a Meta lead form, Meta Platforms, Inc. collects information under its own privacy policy and shares your form answers with us. We do not receive your Facebook password or private messages.
Our web pages may use basic cookies or similar tools to measure visits and ad results. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To contact you about the dental insurance you asked about, answer your questions and give you quotes
- To help you apply for coverage and to service any policy you buy through us
- To keep records required by insurance laws and regulations
- To measure and improve our advertising
- To prevent fraud and protect our business and our clients
We will not contact you about other types of insurance unless you ask us to, you give separate permission, or you become our client and the law allows us to contact you.
Calls and text messages
If you agree on our form, we and our licensed agents may call and text you at the number you provided about dental insurance, including by automated technology. Consent is not required to buy anything. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also ask us at any time to stop calling you.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We share it only:
- With our licensed insurance agents and staff who help you
- With the insurance company you choose to apply with, so it can process your application and policy
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as phone, texting, email, customer records and data storage providers, who may use it only to provide services to us
- With advertising platforms such as Meta, in limited form, to measure our ads (for example, that a lead became an appointment). We never share health information or your form answers for this purpose.
- When required by law, by a regulator, or to protect our rights or someone's safety
Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
How we protect and keep your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above and as long as insurance laws and regulations require.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
- You can opt out of calls and texts at any time.
- Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us and we will respond as your state's law requires.
Children
Our forms are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through our ads or forms.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
